Got my trance head on at the moment. Bought a Darren Pierce Euphoria mix CD back in 96 and listened to it a few times before it got kinda forgotten and left on the shelf for years. Moved house, moved house, moved house... you know how it is.. Well I rediscovered it a few weeks back under place mats and candles in a basket in my dining room of all places, so stuck it on to play. I had forgotten how good this mx is, and how stunning some of the tracks are.
This tune I just love love love, so went on discogs and bought it along with some others... I am now big into mixing trance atm. Think this mix of the tune may be the most perfect example of the style... hope you like it to. Needs pitching up, easy done at home.

Nice track, didn't realise what it was at first until the vocals kicked in - takes me back 10 years!

Interesting to see you're into mixing trance at the moment.

This was my fave trance tune from when it was big.

I remember being over the moon when it got played at The Cross, Kings Cross. That was one hell of a club and one of the best nights I've ever had. Seemed like the tunes just kept getting better and better all night, and the whole club was just rocking:



I've been going through the R&S Records back catolgue on discogs - love the Belgium techno 91 sounds!

Nice tune... gonna seek out the full length track to listen to. Like the vid as well. Watching that lad on his bike... cooool. Would have liked the whole thing to be about just him blasting through the city. Loved watching that.

Yeah the trance thing... dunno where thats come from really. I like the production values, the clean syths, vocals, the ambience that rises up in a lot of the tracks that forces the rush to keep going. The woo yeah factor.
Did a fair few trance nights in the past. Club uk did some before they got smushed on a raid 1 night. And Escape from Samsara (hindu religion reference for ya there) down in brixton which was nice hard dirty trance for the most part. Messy.

I'm enjoying mixing the long 2/3 odd minute intros back and forth till I decide one of em is gonna kick in and kick off. This next tune is one of those I like to stick together with Rapture for just that reason....

Cheers mate, enjoyed those babies when they arrived.

I need to be a bit more focused with what I'm buying, eg focus on 91 tunes for a while - that way I can bang a mix together.

In the meantime, this has got to be one of my fave tracks of all time.

Released around 99/2000 - it encapulates everything that was good about nu-skool breaks at the time.

If you listen to it all the way through, then the pay-off around 5:00 is majestic (IMO!).

Got to admit I was not enamoured of this track when I first heard it but it has grown on me big style. It is truelly nuts out madness-in-a-tune. It makes me just SMILE. Reminiscent of Josh Wink me think. (That rhymes :D )
Fav should like it coz its got chainsaws n stuff. Razz.

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ...

The next number is found by adding up the two numbers before it.

There's quite a lot of interesting stuff out there on it, sadly I looked this up a few years ago (yes I was unemployed having just returned from my travels!)

Loving this album at the moment. Track that got me into it:



Beautiful voice, gorgeous strings, nice oldskool hip-hop breaks too. :notworthy:

I first heard the Pyramid mix of it last year in Tenerfie, which I really liked after a few listens.

But it's an acquired taste - if you're not into the Future Jungle/140 stuff, you may well hate it!! :shock:
